ANTIQUE ENGLISH GEORGIAN SILVER BEADED PURSE c1822   

A wonderful antique Georgian English coin / trinket purse; beautifully made, with silk liner sewn with tiny coloured glass beads depicting flowers & cornucopiae, a tiny beaded tassel drop to the bottom and its solid sterling silver frame with ornate swirl-type decoration, button closure and silver chain attachment.

A wonderful, totally original Georgian purse - decorative, collectable and 100% as described!

CONDITION: All original and very good. Slight signs of wear, some bead loss to one side - pictured.

DATE/MARKS: English hallmark for B'ham 1822. Maker's marks TP.

DIMENSIONS: 4 ½ inches long excluding chain (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx. 45.5 grams.
