ANTIQUE ENGLISH 22K GOLD CARNELIAN DOVE SEAL RING   

A superb heavy quality antique/vintage English, solid 22 carat gold ring; beautifully made, with thick band, split shoulders and set with a lovely antique translucent, polished carnelian seal panel finely hand engraved with a dove carrying an olive branch.

A wonderful quality, fabulously wearable ring!

CONDITION: All original and very, very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use, no loss or damage.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: English hallmark for B'ham 1957. Seal (and head?) 19th century. Maker's marks RV & Co.

DIMENSIONS: Head 13 x 10 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

RING SIZE: L or 6 US (easily sized within reason).

WEIGHT: Approx. 6.8 grams.
