A BEAUTIFUL EDWARDIAN DRESSING TABLE, WITH PARCEL GILT DECOR.

WE WOULD DATE THE DRESSING TABLE TO THE BEGINNING OF THE 20TH CENTURY.

THIS LOVELY DRESSING TABLE HAS A GALLERY SHELF WITH MAHOGANY SUPPORTS AND TAPERING UPRIGHTS WITH TURNED URN FINIALS.THERE IS AN IMPRESSIVE MIRROR WITH CORNICE. THE MIRROR HAS GILT BORDER AROUND THE GLASS AND AROUND THE BOTTOM OF THE CORNICE .

THE DRESSING TABLE HAS 2 OVER 1 DRAWERS , WITH ORNATE PIERCED BRASS HANDLES WITH LAUREL LEAF DECOR.

THE OVERALL DIMENSIONS ARE 61 INCHES HIGH, 42 INCHES WIDE AND 19.5 INCHES DEEP.

THE TOP SURFACE TO THE FLOOR IS 30 INCHES HIGH.  THE LARGE  MIRROR IS 26.5 INCHES WIDE AND 23.5 INCHES HIGH.

THE 2 TOP DRAWERS ARE 17.5 INCHES WIDE, 16 INCHES DEEP AND 5.5 INCHES HIGH. THE BASE DRAWER IS 36.5 INCHES WIDE , 16 INCHES DEEP AND 5.75 INCHES HIGH.

THE ATTRACTIVE AND USEFUL  GALLERY SHELF IS 42 INCHES WIDE , 5.5 INCHES HIGH AND 5.25 INCHES DEEP.

THE DRESSING TABLE HAS ELEGANT TAPERING LEGS WHICH ARE 14 INCHES HIGH, WITH FITTED BRASS CASTORS.

THE DRAWER FRONTS AND CORNICE ARE DECORATED IN PARCEL GILT. THE GILT IS IN GOOD CONDITION , VIBRANT RICH LUXURIOUS GOLD IN COLOUR WHICH COMPLIMENTS WELL WITH THE GOLDEN MAHOGANY.

THE DRESSING TABLE IS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH SOME LIGHT MARKS COMMENSUARTE WITH USE.  MARKS ARE MOSTLY ON THE TOP SURFACE. THERE ARE SOME FOXING SPOTS ON THE MIRROR. THIS IS NOT TOO NOTICEABLE AND DOES NOT DETRACT FROM ITS APPEARANCE.

THIS IS A GOOD QUALITY EDWARDIAN DRESSING TABLE , WHICH IS VERY WELL MADE AND CONSTRUCTED WITH DOVE TAIL JOINTS.
