Lion of Lucerne

This is a lovely wooden carving depicting the lion of Lucerne.

The lion monument is a sculpture in Lucerne Switzerland designed by Bertel Thorvaldsen. It commemorates the Swiss Guards who were massacred in 1792 during the French revolution.

Postage & packaging

Packing
I do make a small charge for packing, (please see my feedback), I use a professional packer who uses bubble wrap and packing materials, to protect the item from the possibility of rough handling, which could damage the item. This I must pay for, together with tape, and, if not freely available, also cardboard. As per ebay policy I add a small charge onto the actual postage cost for this. All postage prices are estimated before wrapping and if by chance a mistake is made please contact me before leaving feedback.
