Stunning W. Brownfield and Son Aesthetic Movement hand coloured ‘Medieval’ pattern plate made circa 1880. The plate is decorated with an elegant mediaeval woman watering a rose bush with a castle in the background. The plate measures 27 cm in diameter and is fully marked to the back including impressed marks. The plate has a star crack to the back but the only part which can be seen on the front is a feint hairline on the woman dress, see detail photograph where I have indicated this with an arrow.  The condition and age is as I have described, this I guarantee, see my returns policy. I pack all items with great care using bubble wrap, polystyrene chips and suitably sized boxes. I also send items as soon as possible after payment, normally within 24 hours.
