This is a wonderful oak Arts and Crafts bedroom suite dating to 1904.  it was made by the leading furniture cabinet makers, Harris Lebus.

This rare antique suite comprises of a large wardrobe, dressing table and washstand. The suite has The patent pending numbers inset in brass in varoius places and also has the registry of design numbers stamped into the wood again in varoius places.........The brass locks also have H.L.L stamped into them to indicate Harris Lebus........you could not wish for more!!

It is not only unusual to find a matching Arts amd Crafts bedroom suite, but also one in such lovely condition, this is a rare gem!

The wardrobe has a large central mirrored door that is bright and clear.  This has a highly stylised  Brass drop handle and backplate with brass lock and working key.

Above the door is the most fantastic large copper panel, depicting a romantic rural scene.

To either side of the mirror door is a beaten copper panel that is repeated in the dressing table too.

Beneath is a large drawer, oak lined, with fine dovetail jointing. 

There is a sweet heart shaped carved detail to the apron which is also repeated on the dressing table.

The dressing table has a good large adjustable swing mirror that is also bright and clear.    The decorative arm supports again have the lovely beaten copper panels. The arms have decorative moulded caps, there is minor nibbling to the corners which is photographed for your inspection.    Below this are two small drawers.

The top is very good, there are just a couple of light marks but very minor and will polish out easily.  Please see the photographs so as to reassure yourself that they are of no concern.

There are three good deep drawers, all oak lined and have fine dovetail jointing.  Each drawer has a good brass working lock (with key).

There is also the same heart shaped carved detail as the wardrobe.

The washstand has an excellent top with a small raised backsplat and a deep carved thumbnail edge.  The cupboard space below has two deep pannelled doors with a nice drop handle and backplate that matches the wardrobe.   The whole piece stands on slender turned legs.

The dimensions are:

WARDROBE- 48.5 inches wide. 19.5 inches deep. 84 inches high.

DRESSING TABLE- 39 inches wide. 20.25 inches deep. 33 inches high to the table top and 63.5 inches high if you include to the top of the mirror.

WASHSTAND- 38.5 inches wide. 18 inches deep. 28.5 inches high and 32 inches high if you include the small backsplat.
