This antique firescreen is very much in the style of the Art Nouveau period.It appears to made from copper which is very dark and I have cleaned it a little to show off the design on the front.Parts of the metal show some wear but it is still a very attractive period piece.

The design on the front is typically Art Nouveau in deisgn with it's lovely shape in the leaves and the flowers.The vase shape and the flowers are raised from the screen and around the edges of the screen the copper is slightly fluted to add detail.The feet and the top of the screen are wrought iron.
