My Wife and I have been keen collectors of antiques and newer, yet interesting items for a number of years and because of downsizing we now need to sell some of them. All items we have for sale have been on display in our home and have given us pleasure during that time. They have been our treasured possessions - please consider this when bidding.

Description:
A very unusual piece of scrimshaw - I have never seen another penknife made from whale bone.
Dimensions:
closed 2.75 inches - open 4.5 inches

 Non UK Postage & Packing: If "Sellers Standard International Rate" is given this means that Air Mail will be used where amount advised is sufficient to secure service. Because of varying UK postal charges and the unknown factor regarding packing weight, quoted amount will not be sufficient to secure service - in this case we reserve the right to contact the winner for them to remit further sums or advise us to send by cheeper surface mail. Where winning bid is above £50 or item requires special handling, either because of item itself or by transmission to an insecure destination, Royal Mail International Signed-For service may be offered on final invoice or at time of listing.
