Believe it or not, there is a pattern to our madness. We love fashion and we love to shop. We buy only the items we feel have staying power and will always look elegant no matter what year or season. Our philosophy is to start items at low prices so the bidders can set the price. ALL OF OUR ITEMS ARE 100% AUTHENTIC. Please see our "Me" page for details.
OUR PET PEEVES
1) Sellers who have a whole novel written about why buyers need to leave the 5 stars on every aspect of the detailed ratings. Give it a rest and let the buyer decide for themselves.
2) Buyers who claim they took the boots/bag/dress to an authenticator and were told that the item was not ***GASP*** "authentic". This trick is really getting old. If you didn't like the item or if it didn't fit you, just admit it. If you're worried about the authenticity, jusk ask/look at our About Me page/check out our feedback and our other items up for auction. Selling fakes is ILLEGAL. Stop accusing honest sellers just because you've changed your mind or you're paranoid. Or better yet, please don't bid on our stuff if you are indeed paranoid. Please see items 7, 13 and 14 for more on authenticity.
3) Sellers who claim that an item is SOLD OUT. There is no such thing. Granted, it may be hard to find but sold out? Sellers, here is a note for you: if we see 10 different sellers, selling the same item and all pretending that it's "sold out", it really looks ridiculous
4) Sellers who constantly use words like "Iconic", "HTF", "Rare", "It Piece". Okay, some pieces may be all that and a bag of potato chips but when you start claiming that a basic Prada tee is "iconic", the word loses meaning really fast.
5) Padding the retail cost of an item. For example, this dress cost me a GAZILLION DOLLARS. Oh yeah? I don't think so.
6) Following down a similar path: Sellers who use the word "couture" when they actually mean "designer ready-to-wear". "Couture" means it is one of a kind, custom made for the wearer and usually costs north of $10,000.
7) Sellers who claim they do not know whether the item is authentic because they received it as a gift. if you don't take the trouble to find out, you probably know it's fake. Furthermore, what kind of friend gives illegal stuff as a present?
8) Sellers who give fashion advice, like "This will go well with jeans". Why don't you leave that up to the person who buys it? (We accept being guilty of this misdemeanor from time to time)
9) Bidders who claim: to have lost their jobs after they placed the bid, to have to help their irresponsible cousin recover from a motorcycle accident, to have their dog eat their wallet or any other lame excuse I cannot think of right now. If there was a truly tragic matter at hand, coming up with excuses for my ebay bids would be the last thing on my mind.
10) Sellers who have photograph upon photograph of unrelated runway and magazine photographs before they put out the real thing, which looks nothing like the runway or magazine photographs
11) Sellers who claim to be involved in "La creme de la creme" society like "When I ran into Famous Person A at the Cannes Flim Festival, he stepped on my gown's train". Yeah, sure buddy: you watching way too much E entertainment.
12) Or how about sellers who claim that exact dress was worn by celebrities X, Y, and Z. Like "Famous Person B AND Famous Person C wore this dress." So they shared a dress and then decided to give it to you???
13) Buyers who ask "how can it be authentic if it's so cheap?" Well, I guess we're risk lovers and prefer to start the bidding low to have more fun.
14) Sellers who get upset when buyers ask "is this authentic?". Why are you getting upset if it is? Just say "yes, it is" and be done with it. And yes, the answer is the same even if you've written it a thousand times in your description. A lot of buyers don't read the description, they just look at the photographs.
15) Buyers who try to negotiate a deal after the bidding has ended like "I know I bid $500 but can you give it to me for $450?"
16) Whoever complained to ebay about this section and had all my listings removed. I am speechless...
17) Lists such as this one so we'll stop here!
