US Armed Forces Service medal.

Instituted:  11th January 1996.

Awarded:  To members of the Armed Forces of the United States who, after 1st June 1992, participate in, as member of U.S. a military unit, a military operation that is deemed to be a "significant activity" and during which they encounter no foreign armed opposition or imminent threat of hostile action.

It will be wrapped securely for posting.  This medal is an original manufactured in the USA by a certified government contractor under license from the U S Army Institute of Heraldry and certified for commercial sale. In new unissued condition, individually mounted on a white card and bagged
