Very nice quality small vertical mill suitable for someone with limited space as the cabinet base is around 2ft square,overall height being less than 6ft.Good selection of speeds up to 3600rpm from the 1.5hp single phase brooke crompton motor via step pully arrangement.Spindle is 30int and collet chuck and some collets included along with morse taper adaptor and jacobs chuck arbor.

This machine has been stripped cleaned new bearings fitted to the head and painted to a very high standard,the base,column and table are American made Clausing and the head is from a Beaver turret mill which is of the same proportions as the original and fits perfect having the same size round ram which enables the head to rotate and swivel for great versatility from a small machine.

Table size is 26 X 6.75" and around 15" clearance under the quill which has a two speed manual down feed fom the handlever.Cabinet has storage room inside for tools and machine is graduated in imperial.It would require the gibs to be adjusted and head set up prior to use as it has not been used since painting with the correct colour machine enamel.I would rate this as better than a Tom Senior vertical as the head is more heavily built with larger quill and being 30 international tooling is easy to find ,cheap and can be much heavyer.At some time there has been a repair to the front cover of the head infront of the pully which does not affect the use of the machine and cannot be seen but i am compelled to mention it as i like my descriptions to be accurate and any warts i know i always pass on to prospective buyers as my feedback will show.This machine is capable of serious metal removal or very precise delicate work. The buyer should have it electrically checked by a suitably qualified person to cover any H&S requirements.It stands around 6ft tall and is very heavy,it can be taken off the cabinet for easy of transportation.Loading this end no problem.
