AMRF60W AM 60W P.E.P. LINEAR POWER AMPLIFIER FOR C-QUAM STEREO MEDIUM WAVE TRANSMITTERS NO NEED FOR TUNING WHEN YOU 'RE CHANGING FREQUENCY! Can be driven with our DDS frequency programmable synthesizer ASMAX-1 AM Stereo unit, to make a LPAM C-QUAM transmitter! AMRF60W works with any regular AM MONO or AM STEREO and you can set easily without any hardware changes (ie. tuning capacitors) the working frequency anywhere from 530KHz to 1.7MHz! Has a maximum driving power of 400mW PEP to deliver a maximum of 80W PEP @ 50 Ohm! Nominal output power is 60W PEP (15W carrier) with less than 300mW PEP (75mW carrier) input!
NOTE: The output power is Peak Envelope Power (P.E.P) and that is full power peaks with AM modulation signal at 100% level!

The PEP is calculated as ~4 times the UNMODULATED CARRIER POWER on AM transmitters!

It needs external USER selectable banks of LPFilters to assure that all harmonics are kept below 50dbc for any AM band frequency!

However since it is a Push - Pull design it has extremelly low even harmonics (2th, 4th, etc.), that are down to -40dbc even without a LPF connected. However use of a LPF is recommended as the odd harmonics (3rd, etc.) are still there, at a level of -25dbc

The unit meets all requirements for AM transmitters for this power level with an added LPF at the output. It has an excellent spectral purity with even harmonics rejection better than -40dBc (even at lower end of band) as can be seen in a Spectrum Analyser. With an external Forward & Reflected Power bridge connected to a panel meter (as is our FRQM-1 unit, also available at our Ebay listings) you can have a reading of SWR and Output power!

A C-QUAM Stereo transmitter system can be used to drive this amplifier due to its excellent linearity!
