ALICE FAYE. Photograph inscribed and signed: "To Phil,/'Happiness Always'/Alice Faye". B/w, 8x10. Alice Faye (1915-1998) was a chorus girl who rose to movie stardom in such films as In Old Chicago (1938), Rose of Washington Square (1939) and Tin Pan Alley (1940). She also co-starred with husband Phil Harris in a popular radio comedy series. Semi-retired thereafter, Faye remained popular on TV and in nightclub appearances. Lightly creased and rippled at upper left. Tack holes at blank margins, which are lightly soiled. Overall, fine condition.
