FYMAC Construction Supplies is the Ecommerce division of Fyfe & McGrouther who have been established in Glasgow for over 50 years and carry a full range of Power Tools, Power Tool Accessories, Hand Tools, Security & Lighting, Site & Workshop Equipment, Workwear & Safety Protection, Building Products & Consumables, Ironmongery, Fixings & Fastenings and products for the Home & Garden.

All our products are BRAND NEW, are genuine British market goods, and come with full manufacturers UK warranty.

Ebay only shows a small example of the 10,000 plus product lines carried ex-stock for next working day dispatch. We are the primary distributor for all the major brands and can source any item that we do not stock. Prices & Payment

All prices are in UK Pounds Sterling and include UK VAT at the appropriate rate and payment is expected within seven days. Please remember to include any additional required information with your payment.

Payment can be made by the following methods:

• Paypal: sales@fymac.co.uk. Paypal is only accepted from buyers with a feedback greater than 3, otherwise you will have your payment refunded and will have to pay by another method. Our apologies, but we have been conned by too many new Paypal users.

• Credit / Debit Card: Phone 0141-552-8419 (Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00). Goods can only be sent to the cardholders address.

• Cheque / Postal Order: Make out to FYMAC Construction Supplies and post to 225 Kennedy Street, Glasgow, G4 0BS.

All international orders must be paid by Paypal and buyers are responsible for any additional taxes and/or fees payable for receiving the goods into their country. A contact name and telephone number must be provided for the carrier in case they need to contact you and goods will not be dispatched without this information.

Shipping

Goods cannot be uplifted as we do not operate a collection facility. If you have any special requirements, please email us before bidding as they almost always cost extra and will be ignored if not agreed beforehand.

Goods should normally be delivered within 3-5 working days after dispatch and may require a signature, but please allow 10 working days and check with your local office to see if they are holding your package before making a claim for non-delivery.

If goods are returned due to non-delivery, a second delivery charge will be applicable and must be paid before the goods will be re-dispatched.

Postage

All postage quoted on listings are based on delivery within the United Kingdom and the following criteria:

• Royal Mail

Stated postage is only to UK addresses. For postage outwith the United Kingdom, see Parcelforce 48.

 

Further items added to your order will incur additional postage until it becomes cheaper to send by Parcelforce 48 (see below). This will only apply where you wait for a combined invoice before making payment or amend postage during payment, refunds will not be given.

• Parcelforce 48

This is for a parcel weighing up to 30kg including packaging and further items added to your order will be eligible for FREE OF CHARGE POSTAGE up to this weight. This will only apply where you wait for a combined invoice before making payment or amend postage during payment, refunds will not be given.

This is normally for abnormally sized packages or for deliveries made direct from the manufactuer and are not eligible for combined postage discounts unless previously agreed. Your invoice will be sent separately by 2nd class post.

FEEDBACK

We used to leave positive feedback upon payment. This has now been changed and positive feedback will now only be left after positive feedback has been left for us. This is due to non-positive feedback being left without giving us the opportunity to resolve the problem or buyers not reading the listing.

Please email us at sales@fymac.co.uk to resolve any issues that would stop you from leaving positive feedback as we will do our utmost to resolve to your satisfaction.

AVAILABILITY

While we endevour to hold sufficient stock to meet all orders, occassionally we may have a run on stock. In these circumstances, your delivery may be delayed until stock is received, or the delivery may be made direct from the manufacturer. You will always be advised of any delay and given the option of cancelling your order.

RETURNS POLICY

We are always willing to discuss any concerns you may have, and will do our utmost to ensure that you are happy with your purchase.

If you wish to return an item, please email us at sales@fymac.co.uk stating the goods to be returned, reason for return, invoice number and / or sales record number, contact details (including daytime/mobile telephone number), as well as any pertinent information (see below).

• Damaged/Faulty/Wrong Goods:

Please notify us within 24 hours of receipt stating the exact nature of the problem and where the goods should be uplifted from if different from the original delivery address. We will then arrange collection as soon as possible or on a day that suits you.

 

For small items or items shipped outwith the UK, we may request that you post them back recorded delivery. This cost should be advised to us and will be refunded in full.

 

Replacement goods are normally dispatched the same day that the returnable goods are received and inspected.

• Non Damaged Goods:

In the unlikely event you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, it may be returned within 14 days providing the goods are returned complete, unused, and unopened in original packaging for a full refund less postage costs. A restocking fee may be incurred if the goods are not in fully resaleable condition.

 

It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods are returned safely at your own expense. Please use a reputable carrier obtaining a proof of delivery and package the goods securely. Returns will not be processed until the goods have been received and inspected.

 

Please note that this does not apply to goods made to your own specifications, perishable goods, or goods that by their nature cannot be returned.

ERRORS & OMISSIONS

Whilst every care is taken when creating listings, we reserve the right not to sell the goods where the price has been set up incorrectly at a price we cannot afford to sell at. We will contact you and offer our best price in the hope that this is accepable.

By the same point, we will also accept returns without question for a full refund including postage where there was an error in the description of the goods.
