The super cardioid polar pattern guarantees for utmost gain before any sign of feedback while the optimum frequency response allows the voice cut through the mix more easily. Its heavy duty metal body means the d88s will take some tough handling a 5m cable and hard carry case finish of a microphone that has all the quality you would expect from akg but at a price you wouldn't expect!
