This auction is for a lovely origional  7" headlamp which would be suitable for AJS, Matchless, some Nortons, Sunbeams etc. I fitted a new chrome headlamp rim today and also a new rim clip and screw plus new W clips to hold in the headlamp unit. The unit is an origional Lucas with light soiling at the top of the reflector but I should think you could clean it easily in through the bulb hole. There is apertures in the top of the headlamp for an ammeter and speedo plus a hole for a switch. There are no dents nor rust. I have been collecting old motorcycles for the past 37yrs., and I have accumulated far too many parts and I hope some of these will be of use to someone. Please check my other auction sites to see what I am offering for sale. Bidders from outside the U K pleae email me first for cost of postage.

A: hello Rod, The speedo hole in the headlamp is approx., 1 1/8"or 80mm dia. The hole would be to suit the chronometric speedo. Rgds David.
