TO COMMEMORATE THE 50th ANNIVERSARY OF THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN, A MODEL HAS BEEN DESIGNED OF TYPICAL FIGHTER AIRFIELD WHICH COULD BE FOUND 'SOMEWHERE' IN ENGLAND DURING WORLD WAR II.

WE AT AIRFIX HAVE TRIED TO RE-CREATE A TASTE OF WHAT CONDITIONS USED TO BE LIKE DURING THAT PERIOD. IN THE CASE OF BUILDINGS WE HAVE USED AUTHENTIC MINISTRY OF DEFENCE PLANS TO BE AS AUTHENTICAS POSSIBLE.
