what it is ?

Basically it is an emulator of Canon EF AF lens, by permanently attaching a 'smart' PCB on a conventional lens mount adapter.

 

what it does ?

It brings in two great featuresto your manual lenses when they're mounted on a Canon EOS body.    

I)  prompt for focus confirmation --  no more guestimation for focus,  for example, my 10Dwill beep when I rotate the lens focusing ring and the focus is reached.

II) you'll get your desired light metering modes..    By using conventional mechanic adapters, we can only use center-weighted light metering.

 

work for my Canon ?

a) it works instantly withCanon EOS 300d (digital rebel), 350d (rebel xt), 400d (rebel xti), 450d, 10d, 20d, 30d, 40d, 50d, 5D

b) it also works for any FilmEOS Canon,  and 1D series digital Canon EOS body,  but withextra steps..
