– A Shoe produced that may have minor cosmetic defects. They
are technically classed as B Grade which means there may be some slight
imperfection such as excess resin or a small mark on the shoe. They have a 'B'
stamp inside the shoe, a tiny punch hole in the tongue and come in a white box. B-Grade shoes come off the self same production
lines as first grade shoes. If the factory sees any defect whatsoever then they
put that pair to one side and mark it as a 'B' grade. They then sell the products
either via their own 'Factory outlets' in the UK or into the European
wholesale trade. In order for Adidas to protect their brand they
have to mark these shoes as B-Grade doing any of the 3 below:
As regards the actual defects with each pair, 99%
of the shoes it’s completely negligible, a tiny bit of excess glue or
a tiny mark. If we do find a significant fault we will not list that specific
