ACOUSTIC INSTRUMENT OUTBOARD PREAMPLIFIER

suitable for use with any instrument using piezo transducers

The SignalFlex SF1000 is a low-cost, high-quality preamplifier which is ideal for any acoustic instrument fitted with a passive transducer pickup. No modification to your instrument is required, the preamp simply plugs into the existing output jack and provides the correct output impedance to match amplifier and mixer inputs. In addition to impedance matching the preamp features a 3-band equalizer, master volume control and low battery indicator. The unique swivel jack assembly allows the preamp to fold discreetly along the guitar rim, and conveniently swing out when adjustments to the controls are required (see pic below) The SF1000 will work with any piezo pickup, including our range of Schatten transducers. The SF1000 is cost-effective for mulit-instrumentalists as it can be quickly and easily swapped between instruments. Ideal for vintage instruments where cutting holes for an onboard preamp is undesireable, or for smaller instruments where installing internal electronics is impractical.
