Black & White Cat on Spider-watch! #1
this is an ACEO* original by myself, Phyllis Mahon, from my cats series...
A black & white cat is watching a spider descend...(see ~# 2 & 3)...A Guardian cat!
it is an indelible ink drawing with watercolour washes on beautiful, heavy Winsor & Newton, acid-free, 425gsm/240lb paper...
The background is loosely painted in red & blue watercolour & I've used a tiny bit of gold acrylic paint on the cat's collar for highlight...
The title is as above with the date 2008, my signature & contact details on the reverse and my initials PM on the front.
For your reference, the picture shown below is approx the same size as the actual piece.
