Nude 6-33
====================

You are bidding on an original, hand made, limited edition numbered ACEO print signed by Luca Paradisi.

Unmounted print in standard ACEO size 2,5x3,5 inch. The print is made on Cranes Crest acid free paper, hand coated by brush with a mixture of platinum-palladium metals, and contact printed under UV light. The print is then developed, cleared, washed, air dried, flattened and spotted by brush and knife. Due to the many variables throughout the process, no two prints are ever really identical.

Despite the small size, all my ACEO prints require the same time and attention to details just like my larger gallery mounted prints. Some parts of the process and especially spotting are actually even more difficult and time consuming.

Platinum prints show an extraordinary tonal richness, intrinsic beauty, tactile depth and the longest permanency of any printing process (many centuries). In the small ACEO size I find them even more exquisite.

Limited edition of fifty archival ACEO prints only. After fifty prints the negative will be retired. This image is also being editioned in my usual, larger 8x10" size, limited to twenty-four prints. (Please notice that it is mirrored in the large size).

The print is titled, date, numbered and signed in pencil on the back.

Paypal is preferred. Enjoy a combined shipping cost for any number of (ACEO) prints purchased!

Complete satisfaction guarantee, if you do not like the artwork you can return it for a full refund.

Note about mounting and presenting (You are NOT bidding on these mounted prints, these are examples):

Many collectors keep their ACEOs in albums, but others prefer to have them properly mounted, either for display or transit. I have been gallery mounting my prints for a long time, so I would like to share some techniques. Have your framer prepare a 13x15" mountboard with bevel window as depicted. In case of archival prints, such as platinotypes, the mount board MUST be 100% rag to museum standards. The ACEO can be attached in many way, the easiest is with a little bit of removable archival adhesive in the form of a small loop at the centre of the print. Please do NOT have the print hot or cold mounted or use any adhesive (even archival) on the entire surface of the print.

As you can see from the close-up below, since the borders are not attached, the print will "float" with an interesting little shadow all around depending on the light, and it will be free to shrink or expand depending on the climate. And most importantly, it will always be easily removable should something happen to the mount, or of course... for trading. Use an hairdrier (gently) to detach the print.

If you prefer me to do the job and have your ACEO mounted, please also purchase a standard ACEO mount from my eBay store. In that case the artwork will be lightly signed and numbered in pencil on the mount just below the print (inside the beveled window) and you will also receive a separate COA. The mount will be exactly as depicted, made with Colormount series museum cotton mountboard (the best in Europe), elegantly wrapped and flawlessly presented, and shipped wrapped in wood for premium care in transit. Please notice that as depicted this artwork is worth 20~30 times its eBay price, when exhibited in galleries. Once again, you are NOT bidding on these mounted prints, these are examples.

About the artist:
Luca Paradisi is an Italian fine art photographer and master printmaker living and working in Ireland since late 1999. He is interested in art expressed through the photographic medium. Subjects include landscape as well as still life, nudes, architectural and more conceptual work. Being an experienced photographer and printmaker for over fifteen years, he is at ease with many different equipment and printing techniques. Prints are hand made traditionally (platinum-palladium) and sometimes digitally (pigmented inks on archival paper), always to the highest standards of quality and permanency. Luca's gallery quality prints have been locally published and adorn many premises and homes especially overseas, where he has many collectors. Luca does not mass produce his prints and since most of them are limited editions his work is quite rare and in high demand. Since June 2003 a part of it is also being offered at a special price here on eBay, where it has received a warm welcome with over 1,500 prints sold with all positive feedback, mostly from repeat buyers, fine art photographers and art collectors.

Also available from Luca are his unique printing service in platinum/palladium from your images, and a thorough technical ebook explaining the process. Please see store for more details.
