(Please note what shows up on your screen is probably significantly larger than the card, and the color settings and image size may vary from monitor to monitor. This is a scan of the actual card, even with high-res we can still see a difference in color and sharpness between the actual card and the photo on the monitor. We have had some major computer changes, not all of them good, and the scanner settings are no longer the same. We're working on it!) We've heard this a lot in forums - "If you like the screen image, you'll love the actual card!" Also note that the watermark (C) information does NOT appear on the actual card, it is for display on the auction and internet only The card is signed by the artist on the face, and signed/dated on the reverse. .

Art cards are a fabulous way to collect art in any form, any medium, and from any artist you like, in miniature! ACEOs started off as standard-sized Art Trading Cards (that size being 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" - yes, inches), and are now traded, swapped, sold and purchased all over the world. These are original works of art in a Miniature format. We have a lot of questions asking "what are the dimensions". All standard ACEOS are 2.5 x 3.5 inches. Note that they make great bookmarks - ie, they fit in the pages of most books. These are very detailed works for their actual size! While many may be tiny prints or "altered" collage formats, unless otherwise stated, all of the Shlei ACEOs are originals (hand-painted or hand-drawn). In some cases we'll offer prints of Shlei originals - but we will be sure to state when we do so!
The Old Masters of the Renaissance are living no longer. The artists of today may be destined to be the New Masters of tomorrow! (The artist was still alive the last time she looked in a mirror...)
