I have had many ABU reels in my collection over the years this ABU 505 is one that i have not used.

This ABU 505 belonged to my father he bought it to use for his Trout spinning, he used it just a few times on holiday and then gave it to me where it has remained in my display cabinet ever since. 

These reels were first made around the early seventies this ABU 505 Serial N0L/2P-752, is in a Absolutely Mint condition.

Everything about the reel is top class the only marks on the reel body are under the reel seat where there are a couple of small paint scrapes, on the reel cowl there are two small marks, apart from that the reel looks new.

The ABU 505 badge on the side plate is completely  unmarked (No damage to the Letters) the inside of the reel is completely spotless, no traces of dirt or rust

 This reel works as new, it has the back wind pin fitted the same as other ABU reels (506 506M 507) so you can use the reel as it was ment to be used. The pick up is sharp and instant  and the pick up pin has no wear.

Really this ABU 505 reel is about as new as you can get, it looks new and handles like a new reel. 

These Brilliant ABU 505 reels can be used for many types of fishing. 

Many anglers use these reels for (Light spinning for small pike/ perch/Trout) and with sensible breaking strain lines 4/8lbs, it is very enjoyable.

Please take time to have a good look at the photo's you will see quite clearly the Top Class Condition of this 505 reel.

ABU 505 reels in this cond are now very difficult to obtain, and as you can see in the photo's the ABU 505 reel is in its own original box and has a instruction booklet/spanner/and casting weight.

The Box is in a quite tidy Condition a few fray marks around the edges but no seriours damage at all, the instruction booklet/spanner/casting weight, are also in good condition.
