A lovely and original Art Nouveau period scent bottle or vinaigrette,this bottle is silver and made in France circa 1890,s,it is decorated with lily of the valley flowers.There is a hinged lid which opens to reveal a gilded interior,I do not know whether this also had a small cork inside ,but the lid fits snugly.A ring to the top so can be worn on a chain if wanted.There is a small hallmark to the inside rim,but not easy to read.All in good condition. Size 55 x 25mm.
