Some time ago I was an "impulse" buyer of wedding dresses at auction.  This is the last of three I bought and it tells almost the full story of that day!

The dress is, I believe silk.  It is in good condition apart from some small brown marks and under-arm staining.  I have not attempted to remove these although in the past I have removed extensive water stains from a silk lampshade by spreading a paste of bicarbonate of soda over them.  My granddaughter who modelled the dress is a size 6  but I could not fasten all the buttons on the back opening when she had it on.  There is smocking across the front of the shoulders.

With the dress are the following:-   halo type head-dress with wax orange blossom flowers, the original shoes with a utility mark on the bottom, the wedding cake decoration, a photograph of the wedding group and the horseshoes that must have been given to the bride.  The full length photographs were taken with different lighting, but the correct colour is ivory.

Proof of posting is always obtained so I do not accept responsibility for non-delivery. I will, however, always help with any negotiations with Royal Mail.

I would like to rectify any problems that might arise with a purchase BEFORE learning of them via feedback.

In fixing postage charges I hope to cover the cost of packing materials - brown paper, bubblewrap, sellotape, jiffy bags, etc. I think most people realise that postage doesn't only involve a stamp.
