Would certainly be the talking point, if on display down the local butcher's shop!
A Victorian Sausage Making Machine - stamped SILENT MACHINE COMPANY, SHEFFIELD, made entirely of cast iron. I've certainly never seen one before.
A hand cranked machine causing the cog to turn, thus pushing the meat through the cast shoot.
The machine has been long stored somewhere for many years and the movements have ceased, nothing a few sprays of WD40 won't cure- a lick of paint, then it's back to machine's former glory.
Would look superb restored and inside a butcher's shop.
A Heavy item and it's pick-up please from Lowestoft, Suffolk.
Any questions, please ask (i'll try to answer them, but i'm no expert in these machines!!) Thank you.
