From the Foreword: A Symposium on "Light and Life" was held at The Johns Hopkins University under the sponsorship of the McCollum-Pratt Institute on March 28-31, 1960. This volume contains the papers and informal discussions presented during the Symposium. In the planning of the present Symposium we attempted, as in previous symposia, to bring together scientists from a number of different disciplines. 924 pages.

• CANADIAN ORDERS:  Same as above, but please deduct a $7.00 credit adjustment at PayPal checkout to reflect lower shipping rates to your country-- $6.95 Standard Size;  $23.95 Oversized.
• Although most International orders are delivered well with in the estimated shipping, occasionally shipping may take longer than 21 days (sometimes up to 45 days) due to customs inspections. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges and are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

Estimated Shipping Times: Normal handling time is 1or 2 working days.  Depending on the item, shipping location may be from Nevada or the East Coast, which may affect shipping time.
