DELIVERIES
We will deliver personally for £50 to addresses within all of London, plus the following, Kent, Essex, Hampshire, Dorset, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Middlesex, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk.
East and West Sussex delivery charges are £30.
Other areas of mainland England, Wales and Scotland vary from £65 to £140 in the very north of Scotland and we only charge one price for up to five items, with extra items possibly slightly more depending on their size.
We usually deliver within a week to ten days of cleared payment being received but in some cases, delivery may take up to three weeks.
Furniture delivery is a very different logistical exercise to posting a stamp or DVD, and in order to keep delivery costs down, we try to deliver several items on each trip to a given area. Please bear this in mind when leaving feedback.
Congestion charges, where applicable, must be paid in addition to this.
Customers wishing to collect from our warehouse in East Sussex may do so by appointment only, and in this case may pay cash on collection if preferred.
Overseas Shipping
We request that overseas bidders arrange their own shipping wherever possible, however we can arrange shipping via Salmar Shipping Ltd , who are based in the South East of England.
Due to past damage by carriers, together with the unsuitability of furniture for posting, we do not pack and post any item, so all items must be either collected in person, by a courier of your choice or by our delivery service as above.
Payment
UK customers may pay by cheque, debit card, credit card (Visa or MasterCard) bank transfer or cash on collection.
Please note that credit cards only will attract a 2% surcharge due to bank charges, this is not the case with debit cards. Overseas customers must pay by bank transfer using IBAN.
Please note that our payment terms are that payment is received within 3 days of the auction ending.
Customers are welcome to visit our warehouse in East Sussex by appointment and should you wish to do so please contact us to make arrangements.
Occasionally we receive winning bids from people who do not go through with the transaction - this is not fair and we will leave negative feedback immediately for people who bid and do not complete the transaction.
Please do not bid unless you intend to fully go through with this purchase and have read the above carefully.
