HERE ARE A SUPER PAIR OF CARLTON WARE DISHES. UNUSUALLY SHAPED, THEY EACH MEASURE 9 1/4" LONG BY 3 1/4" WIDE AT THE WIDEST PARTS APPROXIMATELY. CREAM BASE AND RIM, DISHES ARE IN A DEEP RED/MULBERRY TYPE COLOUR (PLEASE SEE PHOTOS). BOTH IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS - VERY MINOR USAGE SCUFF TO INSIDE BOTTOM OF DISHES WHICH DOESN'T DETRACT, EXPECTED FOR A USED PIECE OF THIS AGE AND HARDLY WORTH A MENTION BUT THOUGHT I'D BETTER. FULL CARLTON WARE STAMPS TO BASE INCLUDING 'HAND PAINTED', 'AUSTRALIAN DESIGN', INDENTED NUMBER '8427' AND THE DECORATORS MARK
