Carol keeps having recurring "nightmares" in which she makes love to the bisexual nympho who conducts all-night LSD orgies and lives downstairs. When her nocturnal wet dreams turn murderous, Carol becomes the main suspect. Carol (Florinda Bolkan) is a respected politician's daughter who experiences a series of vivid, psychedelic nightmares drenched in depraved sex orgies and LSD. Within the confines of her delirious dream state, Carol commits a sickeningly graphic murder and awakens to a real life criminal investigation into the murder of her neighbor--and all the clues point to her! Did she really do it, or is she being framed? Where do her dark dreams end and repulsive reality begin?
