| SUBJECT
OF THIS EBAY AUCTION |
A LARGE & FINE ANTIQUE OAK DOWER/MULE CHEST C.1760. This fabulous item of Georgian oak country furniture is offered to Ebay users in exceptional UNMOLESTED condition. It is large and very substantial with no weak joints or similar issues. We have been unable to detect any restoration on this fabulous piece, and such wear that does exist is purely the result of 240 or so years of continued careful use. We are cautious in using such terms as ‘heirloom’ and ‘investment’ when describing an antique, but such is the nature of this item that we fully expect the lucky new owner to be truly delighted when they get it home and see for themselves the quality they have acquired. We have posted a selection of large detailed pictures of this wonderful chest, showing all of the important views including the original adzed back. Please view these pictures to see for yourself the outstanding nature of this item, and if you still have questions you would like answered in regard to this item, please do not hesitate to ask.

COLLECTION
We welcome customers who wish to collect their goods personally, subject
to cleared funds. |

DELIVERY
We offer a bespoke delivery service (faster but frequently more expensive option) up to about 50 miles radius of Watford Herts, after which it is generally beneficial for our
customer to use a third party courier, who will deliver an item as part
of a consignment (slower option). We will always advise whichever is the
more economical option, and frequently quote for both bespoke and consignment
delivery options to help our winning bidder make an informed choice. |

| For
those who don’t have a regular courier, we are happy to suggest PDS Couriers on 020 8508 4080, who will offer a competitive rate for delivery and collect from us within the time window outlined in our bidding conditions. Typically we release goods (to PDS only) before clearance of client funds, and advise PDS when cleared client funds are in our account. In practice this means that a winning bidder of one of our items will receive their goods with the minimum of delay when using PDS. We emphasize that customers who use a third party courier service, need to make collection arrangements and payment directly with the courier. |

| We
are of course, happy to accommodate any reasonable collection time/date,
including weekends, and will always help the driver to load our customer’s
items for a safe speedy shipment. Please be advised that we offer a delivery
service, not a removal service and can deliver on a ‘kerbside to
kerbside’ basis only. Accordingly the customer will need to have
assistance to help offload goods on arrival. In our case, subject to time
restraints, we will help to carry an item into ground floor premises,
but we cannot help to deliver items up flights of stairs. Please bear
this in mind when deciding whether to bid on an item. Our driver is not
insured to carry goods above ground floor level. |
