The item being offered is a copy of A History of Ireland: for Schools, Academies and Colleges by A. M. Nolan. The book was published by J. S. Hyland & Co., Chicago, 1911. The book is bound in green cloth with black text and design on the cover, and black text on the spine. It measures approximately 5" x 7¼", and contains 335 pages plus index and advertising page. It is illustrated with black and white drawings and one fold-out map. The book is in good condition with some shelf wear and light soiling to the boards. The interior pages have age toning on the edges, and the binding is separated at the front hinge after the ffep. All in all, this is still a very nice copy of a rather scarce book.
