A very smart, understated Chamberlain can from the end of the eighteenth century. There are no factory marks.
It is in very good condition with no chips or restorations. The gilding is very good with scarcely any wear, The decoration is confined to a small gilded rose on the front of the can and gilt bands. The fluting is the Chamberlain double track, and the handle is also typical of the factory.
A very pleasing early piece.
Cheque only from UK buyers please.
