A beautiful looking genuine antique 9ct rose gold framed large cameo brooch.

This antique brooch is fully stamped 9ct gold. The gold is a lovely rose colour. The cameo is nicely carved and depicts a beautiful young Grecian or Roman lady. The pin opens as it sholud and holds closed on the catch. There is a nice heavy quality pinchbeck safety chain fitted to the brooch. Pinchbeck has been used for strength to ensure the safety of the large gold brooch. The gold wire frame of the brooch is just a little out of shape at the very top of the brooch, but this is expected on a brooch of this age and type and this is still a lovely item. We have also priced the brooch accordingly. The brooch measures just over 50mm tall and it weighs 13.3g (approx) including the safety chain. A lovely antique cameo.
