Original red cloth covered boards with gilt illustration  to upper and lower boards and gilt titles to spine. With illustrations throughout by Ernest Shepard. 103 pages. In the original dust jacket.

Boards are in very good plus condition. Mild rubbing to spine tips and corners. Light bump to foot of lower board. Very slight darkening to spine. Binding is tight and square.

Internally there is a previous owner's name and date to the top of the front endpaper. Slight browning to the margins of the half title and verso of the last page. The odd, very occasional light mark but really the pages are exceptionally clean and in excellent condition throughout.

The dust jacket is not price-clipped showing the original price of 7/6 net. to the spine.  Some browning to the spine. The odd small mark to the panels. Chipping to spine tips and corners. Some tears with associated creasing as follows;

1) 8cm tear to the rear panel at the top of the fold.

2) 1.5cm tear to the rear panel at the bottom of the fold.

3) 3cm tear to the head of the spine at the rear joint.

4) 3cm tear to the foot of the spine at the rear joint. 

There were previously tape repairs/re-inforcement to the spine tips inside the jacket. The tape is no longer there but has left very faint tape marks which do not show through to the front of the jacket. The jacket is now protected in a removable plastic sleeve (not shown in the photos).

A very nice copy of this sought-after title.

Books at £200 and over will be sent within 48 hours by special delivery with insurance to the full value of the book. There will not be any additional charge for this service, above the stated postage costs.

All books under £200 will be sent by Royal Mail airmail within 48 hours of receipt of payment.

Books at £200 and over will be sent within 48 hours by Royal Mail 'Airsure'  (or 'International Signed For' where 'Airsure' is not available) with insurance to the full value of the book. Once the book has been mailed I will Email you notification together with a reference number which will enable you to track or trace your delivery online. There will not be any additional charge for this service above the stated shipping costs.

Combined postage

I will combine postage/shipping costs. Where more than one item is purchased please request an invoice when you have finished buying. I will send an amended invoice reflecting the reduced postage/shipping costs.
