0.5m Length 0.6mm Diameter 99.999% Pure Solid Silver Wire in loose PTFE/Teflon Insulation

Extremely high purity solid silver wire in a loose teflon insulation, perfect for internal wiring in audio equipment, or DIY interconnects, speaker cables, mains cables etc. The wire is 0.6mm thick, equivalent to 22/23 gauge. High purity silver is ideal for audio applications and will give much better results than copper or silver plated copper. Please do not confuse this with jewellery wire or sterling silver wire, this is specially designed for audio applications.

The PTFE insulation is loose which allows a predominantly air dielectric. Air is the best dielectric (apart from a vacuum) and teflon is close behind, this means minimal dielectric absorption resulting in the best possible sound.

This listing is for 1x 0.5m length. For example, if you need 2m, you would need to purchase 4. The item will be supplied in continuous lengths upto 2m unless you request otherwise.

For an extra 25p per half metre, your length of wire can be divided and braided into a round double balanced litz as seen below. Please add the correct amount onto the total and contact me to let me know you would like a litz braid.
