This Bentley Brooklands is the new for 1994 Floorchange Model,and when supplied new to Murray Bentley of Glasgow was one of the first available it was used as their demonstrator and cost a shade under £100,000.The Bentley was extra specified to include Turbo R Sports seats and a s/s mesh grill The Bodywork is finished in Brooklands Green Mica,with parchment hide piped in spruce.The paintwork is in excellent order with a deep shine and some only very minor imperfections,too small to show up on photographs,the interior is similarly in excellent order,the leather seats are in very clean condition with no damage or wear anywhere,the leather roofing lining is exceptionally clean and almost unmarked,the woodwork is excellent with only two very small areas of crazing.The wilton carpets are almost as new and are protected by genuine Bentley overmats in Spruce the whole cabin retains that clean and expensive wood and leather smell.The Engine runs superbly smoothly and quietly on both Petrol and Lpg giving amazing acceleration with silky smooth gearchange and viscous braking,when driving you can't tell the difference between the petrol and Lpg,only when paying! government fig.s indicate the Bentley will return upto 23mpg when compared to running on Lpg (av.51p/l) this gives an unbelievable equivalent of 47mpg.The conversion was carried out in 2001 when the car had done 76,800 mls and was very expensive,having long range tanks fitted,up to 500 miles range(160 litres),just enough to get to the south of france,it has now covered 118k miles so the Lpg is well proven,this represents only 7.3k miles per annum which is supported by a very large history portfolio amounting to many thousands of pounds.I believe this car gives superb luxury and value for money,I have not set a reserve as I think the condition of the car will sell it.The Brooklands has just had a large schedule 1 service costing £1578 ,this included a suspension overhaul with n/s/f pipework and sphere replacement,lower balljoint replacement,service kits to rear calipers,new thermostat,in addition to this the Lpg System was overhauled updated,serviced and tuned at a cost of £386 at Autogas Cumbria.
