  Scarce type -  Even green patina - British found - complete & fully working 

For auction, an Original, Viking period in britain, Circa 900 A.D date. A fine Large & scarce type, British found, penannular brooch of the ‘Omega’ type, with two trapezoidal fins below the band. Each fin is decorated with a billetted border enclosing a beaded triangle. The internal sections of the two triangles include a trefoil of pellets with a single pellet above. Finest design casting, in very fine state of preservation/condition. This will look immaculate with professional clean/conservation.
