These have a fancy casting with nice vintage patina. The base has a real neat romanesque column with a shell cast into face of the shutter dog.

These are not reproductions!  They were likely cast in the late 1800's or  early 1900's. They are original heavy duty castings with the old paint removed. Some of the castings are smoother than others because they had more paint layers and were better protected.

These would look great on your house to help bring back that vintage look of years gone by.

The shutter dogs are 4" long and 3" tall. There is a left and a right casting to each set.

The shutter face would be at 2" off the wall.

I put on a clear oil sealer to prevent rust so they are ready for you to paint them your favorite color.

These shutter dogs are ready to go and will give many more years of faithful service.

I will combine shipments for separate auctions to save you shipping. Please wait for my combined invoice or email me for a combined invoice when auction closes.

1. Please use the shipping calculator for the shipping and handling cost BEFORE bidding to get your shipping and handling cost. The shipping calculator will round up to the nearest pound and the Buyer pays actual postage plus a $2.00 handling fee.

2. If your item is light enough I may ship by first class USPS. If this is a problem for you, PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHEN MAKING YOUR PAYMENT SO I DON’T OFFEND YOU.
   
3.  As long as everything fits in a USPS flat rate box you pay a max of $10.95 shipping and handling.
4.  I sometimes will use DHL, so ask me to give you a price on heavy combined auctions. They are often better for heavy boxes over long distances.
5.  Paypal is the preferred method of payment for the fastest shipment (often same or next day). Postal Money orders are second best. I accept Personal checks only from people with 100 percent positive feedback number over 25.  Please contact with me so I know your payment plans.
6.  I will require insurance if the auction gets close $50.00. If this is a problem, please refuse insurance at your own risk.
7.  Shipping and handling fees not refunded unless I make a mistake in my listing.
