Ideal for grasping circlips securely during fitting and removal. Also used for fitting of rubber rings!

Internal vs External:

Internal Snap-Ring Pliers:
Internal circlips are less common than external circlips. These are used in applications inside hollow areas. For removal or installation, the clip needs to be squashed into the hollow. Exrternal circlip pliers close inwards when the pliers are squeezed.
 
 
External Snap-Ring Pliers:
External circlips are cliped onto the outside of a bar. For removal or installation, the clip needs to be stretched over the bar. External circlip pliers open outwards when the pliers are squeezed.
