To get the most from these speakers, both in terms of power output and quality, the 3000w TL-1091 full-range amplifier is recommended.
It provides exactly the right amount of power to drive these speakers to their stunning full potential, if required.
The amplifier provides crystal-clear output to the speakers, so even if only listening at moderate levels, you will notice the difference.
If you are unsure as to whether or not you require the amplifier for these speakers, it is advisable initially to connect them up to your head unit and test them out. This means the speakers are only able to be run to a fraction of their full potential, but this may be perfectly acceptable for some users, still giving loud and clear output.
The 6x9" enclosures enable a pair of 6x9" speakers to be mounted neatly without having to cut into the parcel shelf.
The boxes can then be positioned wherever they can be securely and safely mounted. Most commonly this is on top of the parcel shelf, facing towards the front of the car. However, the positioning is not limited to the parcel shelf. They could be attached to front or rear door cards or even under seats, space permitting.
The use of the boxes is not necessarily limited to the vehicle either. The 6x9" speakers can be used with these enclosures to form fantastic full range speakers for bedroom or front-room stereo systems, TV systems, PA systems, etc.
