Privacy Statement

I. Ambit, Conclusion of the Contract

Orders are solely carried out based on the following Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statement. Any differing Terms and Conditions should be presented in written form and approved by both Print-Colours UK Ltd (hereinafter “the company”) and the purchaser.

II. Title of goods

Title of goods does not pass from the seller until all monies are paid.

III. Damaged goods

The company shall be under no obligation in respect of damaged goods unless the breakage or damage is held for inspection and the company notified in writing within three days of receipt of goods. In the event of packages arriving damaged, the consignment note should be noted accordingly.

IV. Price

Unless otherwise stated, the company reserves the right to vary prices quoted to reflect any increases of costs that affect the company directly. Offers made by the company end one week after the purchaser has received the offer. All prices exclude delivery and VAT at the prevailing rate unless otherwise stated.

V. Terms of payment

New customers: unless otherwise agreed, the total amount stated on the order confirmation must be paid before the order is shipped to the purchaser or any third party using one of the payment facilities of the company.

Existing customers: unless otherwise agreed, the amount due as stated on the invoice must be paid within ten days by cheque or by transferring the total amount to the company’s bank account. Any other payment facilities of the company used by the purchaser require the company to debit the total amount due on the day the order is placed.

The following penalties apply to both new existing customers:
1st payment reminder: a penalty of GBP1.00 ex VAT applies
2nd payment reminder: a penalty of GBP 25.00 ex VAT applies
3rd and final payment reminder: a penalty of GBP 35.00 ex VAT applies
If the total amount is not paid within three days of the final reminder, additional costs for lawyers, courts and any other costs relating to the case will be invoiced.

An additional rate of 16% per annum above the prevailing base interest rate of the Bank of England will apply.


VI. Proofs

When proofs are submitted for customers’ approval, no responsibility will be accepted for errors in proofs passed by him.

VII. Force Majeure

Every effort will be made to carry out the contract, but its due performance is subject to cancellation by the printer or to such variation as he may find necessary as a result of any Act Of God, War, Strike, Lockout or any other industrial dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought, Legislation or other cause (whether of the foregoing class or not) beyond the company’s control. No responsibility can be accepted for late delivery.

VIII. Variations in Quantity

Every endeavour will be made to deliver the required quantity ordered, but quotations are conditional upon a margin of ten percent being allowed for overs or shortage, the same to be charged or deducted.

IX. Liability

The company shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss or for any loss to the customer arising from third party claims occasioned by errors in carrying out the work or by delay in delivery.

X. Expedited Delivery
Should expedited delivery be agreed and necessitate overtime or other additional cost, an additional cost may be made. All deliveries are chargeable.

XI. Copyright 
No warranty that the goods sold do not infringe copyright of a third party is given or is to be implied. If they are manufactured to the purchaser’s design or according to the purchaser’s instruction, the purchaser shall indemnify the seller in respect of all claims, damages, costs and expenses in respect of any alleged infringement and on discovery of such infringement, the seller shall be at liberty to terminate the contract and receive payment for all goods supplied, made up or allocated to the purchaser even if not yet at the agreed place of collection by the purchaser or if it shall have been so agreed, not yet delivered by the seller.

XII. Artwork 
All prices assume that camera-ready, same size artwork is supplied.


Privacy Statement

I. Storage of Purchasers’ Information
All relevant information to process an order in a secured database. For tax purposes, the information is stored for a minimum period of five years. Credit card, debit card and bank account information is also stored. Third party information provided by the purchaser is stored for a minimum period of five years.
II. Use of Purchasers’ Information

The company reserves the right to use purchasers’ information for marketing purposes. This includes using the provided address, telephone numbers and email address to inform the customer of new products, services and special offers available. The purchaser may step back from this clause at any time by calling the Customer Support Centre.

III. Transfer of Purchasers’ Information to a Third Party.

The purchaser’s information will never be passed on to a third party company. This excludes shipping companies and sub-contactors; all relevant information to deliver the order will be passed on.

Should you be less than happy with anything else you've ordered(display frames, etc), please return it to Print-Colours in Manchester within 14 days of date of original delivery with your original receipt/Invoice, and we'll be happy to refund your purchase or send a replacement product. All refunds are credited to the original pay method. No cash refunds. Send your package via an insured and prepaid method (we also offer a returns service via UPS). Include your packing list (or invoice number) and please let us know the reason for the return. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable on returns.

For sales to business customers: We cannot accept a return except where there is a defect with the goods.
