One of the most fantastic beds we have ever had the pleasure of.
Dating from the mid 1800s` this French Bed is an incredibly substantial piece of work, with deep, heavy timbers and exceptional carvings in the high Rococco style. Thisn is a big, outrageous bed that was almost certainly a special commission due to the size & quality.
The bed incorporates a canopy which requires mounting on the wall above the bed. This can then be used to accomodate drapes (half tester style) if desired.
Absolutely outstanding quality, the photographs cannot hope to do justice to this outstanding bed.
