A fantastic Danish Dining Table made by ‘Skovby Mobelfabrik’ in the late 60’s.

This is an absolute stunner….at it’s smallest the diameter of the top is 4ft set on a centre pedestal so there’s no awkward legs in the way.  The whole table is solid Teak the table top is 1½” thick and must be worth £300+ in Teak alone!  The quality and workmanship is unsurpassed this piece could be restored time and time again as it is such good quality.

The table can be extended twice by simply fitting the extra leaves (made of Teak veneered plywood)….by extending 1 leaf you create a 66” long table and by using both extension leaves you get a fantastic 86” long table which is just perfect for Dinner parties or large family gatherings….The Teak is a wonderful shade, quite light but extremely rich!

We have professionally stripped all 4 pieces of the top and re-polished using a hard wearing, heat/stain proof polyurethane lacquer, all 4 pieces are perfect the colour is uniformed throughout….pretty much as new!  There is a small darker patch to the edge of one of the extra leaves I do not believe this is damage it looks more like a cosmetic repair possibly done at the time of manufacture in the factory (shown in photo).

The table is easily taken apart therefore making it easier to deliver to a flat/basement etc…

Included in the sale are 6 simply stunning and matching Solid Teak chairs an absolute work of art, every piece of timber is beautifully rounded on all four edges and bares the badge ‘Uldum Mobelfabrik’.....The chairs are in perfect condition, we’ve cleaned/re-oiled them and upholstered in a fantastic handwoven 100% wool in Shale Grey...samples can be provided upon request.
