** What is True Thread Count?
We've all heard Thread Count to be defined as the number of threads per square inch in a piece of fabric, however this definition doesn't provide a clear or understandable concept of how Thread Count is used in the manufacture and weaving of cotton linen.
Threads of a fabric can be measured in a lab under microscope, to determine exactly how many threads exist in a square inch, and labs can determine the "True Thread Count" of sheets and bed linens.
True, accurate thread counts are comprised of the actual number of yarns - if the yarn is made of more than one Thread (twisted together), then only the actual number of yarns should be counted.
Confusion has been greatly added in the past several years, by manufacturers twisting shorter threads together (known as ply) to create a longer fiber or 'Yarn'. Many manufacturers have been counting these twisted threads individually, rather than only the final created 'Thread'.
In essence, the practice of Multiple-Ply Threads has resulted in False Thread Count Numbers.
The best Sheets are made of Single-Ply, also known as 1-Ply, Long-Yarn fibers.
Multiple-Ply fibers consist of any fiber quantity larger than one, including packages that read 2-Ply, 3-Ply or 4-Ply.

Why Egyptian Cotton?
Throughout the past three centuries, Egyptian cotton has prevailed with an established reputation of being the "world's finest" cotton in the world for, its softness, strength and superior characteristics.
Egyptian cotton has not gained such a reputation without reason. Egyptian cotton "is" the world's finest cotton and the following characteristics are what sets Egyptian cotton apart from other natural fibers:
The length of the fiber makes it possible to make the finest of yarns without sacrificing the strength of the yarn. The strength of the fiber makes fabrics more solid and more resistant to stress. Its softness feels like nothing else in the world
Egyptian cotton is hand picked which guarantees the highest levels of purity. In addition, hand picking puts no stress on the fibers (as opposed to mechanical picking) leaving the fibers straight and intact.
All these factors have resulted in the Egyptian cotton being by far the best cotton in the world. Fabrics made of Egyptian Cotton are softer, finer and last longer than any other cotton in the world.

What is Sateen Weave?
Sateen weave has more yarn surface on the face of the cloth than other basic weaves giving a softer feel and more lustrous look.
Cotton sateen sheets provide softer and inviting feel than those with a classic linen weave. This fabric really has exceptional feel, once you experience this on your bed, the difference is unmistakable.
A satin weave has more warp threads on the top surface, resulting in a silk-like touch and attractive luster or sheen.

RETURN DAMAGED GOODS:
If your item is received damaged, you must advise me within 24hrs from delivery.
On receipt of order please inspect the parcel for any sign of damage.
If any damage is found, please refuse delivery.
If you accept delivery and the damage is found subsequently,
you will need to return the damaged product to us for assessment,
you will be responsible for the cost of returning your goods to us.
If your purchase is damaged in transit we will send you a "no charge" replacement, freight free.

 Care Instructions:
EGYPTIAN COTTON BEDLINEN AND TABLELINEN
- Machine Wash at 60 degrees centigrade, tumble dry with cooling down period,
take out of dryer shortly after cycle is completed, fold, lay flat and iron whilst fabric is still damp.
You may also hang the bedlinen to drip dry, this will result in minimum creasing.
Do not mix wash with other fibers like poly/cotton.
