On offer here is a Fabulous Dark Blue Lip 6oz Codd Bottle.

It stands 7 1/4" (18.5cm) Tall.

The front is Boldly Embossed as follows:
J. ECKERSLEY
STERLING MINERAL WATERS
ESTD * 1866
JE (centre monogram letters)
BOLTON

To the lower rear it is Boldly Embossed as follows:
PATENT SAFE GROVE
4
SOLE MAKER
DAN RYLANDS
BARNSLEY

It has a Gorgeous and Very Dark Blue Lip.
Above is the front of the Bottle.

Above, you can see that there is what looks like a hairline crack to the inside of the neck area. This does not travel right through the glass and could be a scratch, but if you view it as a hairline then you cannot possibly be dissappointed in any way when you receive the Bottle, should You be The Winning Bidder.
Around the base of the marble retaining dimple to this same side (see above) it is pitted / surface nibbled.
These are nothing bad in my opinion and are to the Rear of the Bottle anyway, but should definitely be pictured and mentioned for complete Accuracy.

WOW !

There is a very slim and shallow surface air bubble burst or sliver to the side of the lip, measuring 3mm long x 1mm wide. Also, when you run your fingers around the top of the Lip edge, you can feel a couple of tiny pin prick nibbles.

Finally, I will add that I am VERY thorough when I make my final inspections of my Bottles and this shows in my detailed descriptions and the amount of pictures I take to cover all sides and views of what I sell.
Despite the minor flaws this is still:
