These stylised Art Nouveau ceramic tiles are likely to be vintage reproductions of an original Art Nouveau design of pink Lillies on green and brown pads. They bear an embossed stamp to the back; of a crown over Laurel garland and crouching Greyhound over the word England. The glaze is crackled and there are firing flaws to add to the charm of these tiles that were probably intended for decorating fireplace surrounds. The 5 tiles weigh in excess of 2.3 kilograms unwrapped and measure 6" (15cm) square. These tiles can be shipped by Royal Mail Standard Parcels within the UK or collected in person when cash on collection would be acceptable if prefered. International bidders please take note that Shipping abroad may be prohibitively expensive as this item would exceed the small packet rate.
