PC TV-Out Kit - 5m - GOLD PLATED

SVHS Video Cable, Jack to 2 phono Stereo Audio cable and SCART Adapter!

Perfect for connection your TV Out (SVHS-4pin) on your PC or laptop directly to your TV or Video

A great little kit which includes a SVHS (S-Video) cable for the picture, a 3.5mm jack (connects to speaker out) to 2 phonos (for audio) and a SCART converter (phonos and SVHS inputs to SCART).

If you have SVHS and audio inputs on your TV, then the SCART converter's not needed. Simply plug them in and change to the required AV channel.

If not, just plug the cables into the converter and then straight into a free scart socket.

Please note:

  • This kit will allow you to use your TV as a monitor for your laptop but we only recommend it for watching films.
  • By default your TV-out port is not turned on.  Usually if you go to your Control Panel à Display à Settings you can choose the output monitors/TVs.  Sometimes you have to click on the advanced tab and choose monitor and then select TV output from there.  Sometimes it’s a hot key e.g. Function F5.  You may also get more help from your computer/laptop/graphics card manual.

  • If your picture is black and white, your output is usually set to NTSC not PAL.  PAL is the UK format for UK TVs.  To change this depends on your video card but normally you can change the settings in the Control Panel - Display - Settings - Advanced but everything must be set up before it will let you change the settings over.
