      This is an older, 1950 / '60's Damascene gilt brooch of good size. 
It features an interior scene of a pair of songbirds cavorting amongst very detailed foliar elements.
Outer rims are nicely worked as well.
A very beautifully crafted pin with incredible detail. 
In excellent vintage condition with no damage. 
It measures 1 & 7/8 inches across with a subtle domed profile.
The earlier pull release safety pin functions well. 
Gilding is intact overall.
Bright & ready to wear or give as a spectacular gift.
